The African American History Publishing Company, LLC, was born from a lifelong journey of discovery and determination. Our founder, Cedric Michael Stroud, was inspired by a moment in elementary school when he encountered a history book that diminished Africa's contributions to world progress. That moment ignited a passion to uncover the truth and celebrate the countless achievements of African descendants in science, technology, and innovation.
Over decades of independent research, he compiled an extensive record of patents and inventions, ensuring that these contributions would never be overlooked again. This personal mission has grown into a business that is dedicated to providing the community with tools to learn, grow, and share knowledge of Black inventors and innovators. Through our calendars and services, we preserve these histories and provide a platform for future generations to connect with their heritage. Our story is a testament to the power of perseverance and the belief that knowledge can inspire greatness. Together, we honor the past to empower the future.
We’d love to hear from you! Your feedback, inquiries, and ideas are invaluable to us as we work to preserve and share the stories of Black innovators in STEM.
